Our Intake Team got hit with COVID and is out sick. You have been crossed trained on talking to Potential New Clients (PNC) and all the paralegals are helping out. During a conversation with a PNC (Wilma), she tells you that she has been working with a lawyer for the last several months, but she is not satisfied with how the process is going. Her current lawyer has drafted a Separation Agreement, but she does not like the proposed changes that her Husband's lawyer sent to them by email. The PNC does not believe the Separation Agreement includes all the terms that were in the agreement they signed before they married. Plus, she is really upset that her best friend Betty's Separation Agreement is more detailed than hers and she doesn't understand why she is not getting as much money as Betty did. When you offer the PNC an appointment, she says that she cannot do next Tuesday because she got a notice to be in Court that day, so she wants to look at other possible days. Wilma also asks you if she can bring her boyfriend, Barney, to the appointment with her. What additional information is needed from this PNC? What documents should be asked for PNC to send in advance of the appointment?
