Imagine that you are a Puritan, Quaker, a Native American or a European explorer, who stumbles upon a Delorean, time travels to the future, to the year 2017, and happens on the scene of the worst mass shooting in modern American history in Las Vegas, Nevada.

What do you think of modern American gun violence? Does it surprise you, shock you or does it make you feel sad or disappointed in the America you helped to create? How would you define America today versus the America you know? How does this violence compare to violence in your own time?
