Problem
In the United States today, only slightly more than 10% of workers are members of labor unions. Many Americans are fine with that, believing that unions do more harm than good. They have been accused of protecting bad workers, making American businesses less profitable and competitive, causing jobs to be moved overseas, and having too much influence in politics. What do you think of labor unions? Do they still have a place in American society? Do you think that they do more good or harm? Explain your answers. Would you want to be in a union? Why or why not?
