Is it because he is deeply concerned with free speech and doesn't believe that anyone - politicians included - should be thrown off the platform for postings that they have made? Or do you think that there is another reason?

Question III: When Twitter removed former President Donald Trump from its platform, it was a highly controversial move made for various reasons. Free speech advocates, usually aligned with Democrats, found themselves on the side of Republicans who objected to this action mainly because the removal resulted from Trump's statements and positions, with which many Republicans agreed. The bottom line was that many of the politicians of these two major parties were either supporting Trump's removal or against Trump's removal for political reasons.
