A Bible: Seek a modern translation from the original languages as opposed to a translation of a translation.
1) What do you think is the point of the Jonah story in the Bible, and who is most true to his vocation in the story, Jonah or God?
2) Which do you think is to be most true, that we find our vocations or our vocations find us? Does the term vocation or calling suggest an answer to this question?
3) Where do you expect to find your deepest fulfillment, in relationships with friends or through your work? Why? Be specific.
