In 1 page write-up, I would like you to reflect on what has been happening with the Corona virus outbreak here in the U.S. and the entire world. I would like you to consider applying the Risk Society thesis here by U. Beck and try to answer two questions:
• How do you think humans eventually define and/ or prevent risk?
• What do you think constitutes a manufactured risk and/or a non-manufactured risk? What role do the institutions of society and especially the political systems play here?
