As we can see from the different policing styles in our model countries, some countries are militaristic while others are more humanistic. Many use a form of restorative justice which allows victims and offenders to communicate openly about how to make the victim whole again, while others utilize formal court processes in seeking justice. What do you think are the benefits to the informal method?
