The notion of solipsism suggests that one's own mind is the only entity whose existence is certain. That is, solipsism claims that the only thing that one can claim to know is that one's own mind exists. While most philosophers don't work on this issue in particular, almost all philosophers agree that solipsism accurately describes an inherent limitation to the human condition.
