Discussion Post: Horizontal & Vertical Development
Read In Cold Blood through page 13 (ending "unaware that it would be his last").
Having read about horizontal and vertical development in the True Crime novel, choose a selection in the first 13 pages and explain why the selection is not simply horizontal (who, what, where, when, why, how--objective), but also displays the vertical characteristics of literature use of all the literary techniques, emotional responses, interpretations, connections, and significant figurative language--basically, what do you see that is subjective?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
