Requirement:
When clearly articulated, leadership and mission statements guides the organization and its members toward their collective and professional goals. A well-written leadership statement presents your organization with a set of expectations and goals, a summary of what you value, and the types of decision making that distinguishes your style from other leaders.
In this course, you will be expected to produce a personal leadership statement that aligns with the expectations and focus of the Applied Analytics program.
Your Personal Leadership Statement should address the following in 1 page:
Describe the type of leader you would like to be. What are the observable behaviors and characteristics of that type of leader?
What career do you desire? If you are currently on your ideal career trajectory, how do you see your path evolving?
Where do you see yourself in 2 years? 5 years? Ten years?
What do you plan to accomplish as a leader?
How will your style of leadership influence or support analytics in organizations?
What are your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats?
My background: I am a graduate student major in data analytics, and I just have a little internship experience.
