The second job is to work for a quality outsourcing company like EDS (www.eds.com). What do you expect your professional life would be like for the two different jobs? Which job do you think is more secure? Which job do you think has greater career prospects? Can you imagine that one job would be more fulfilling than the other? If so, which one? Assuming pay and benefits were equal, which job would you choose? Reflect on your answers to these questions. If you manage a group that directly interfaces with outsourcing personnel, would you treat the outsourcing personnel different from your own? Why or why not?
