Explain the effect of having an immature prefrontal cortex, amygdala, hippocampus, hypothalamus, and limbic system. What do we see in babies and toddlers that tells us that these parts of the brain are still developing?
Then, give an example of how we might use one of these parts of the brain. For example, if you chose the prefrontal cortex, you might give an example of a child being able to focus in school while not being distracted by a fire engine that goes by. Don't tell us which part of the brain is your example. Hopefully, your example is clear enough that we can guess.
