Problem
When we talk about epidemiology, what do we mean when it comes to health care services? What information does it give us? As healthcare administrators, we review units of services (number of admissions, number of visits, cost of services, etc.) but what about these other measurements? What descriptive epidemiology would help us in health care services/systems? Go look at some stats (CDC is good for that.) Tell me how this information can be and is being used!
