1. Compare and contrast Hestia from the Parthenon sculptures and the Nike sculpture from the Athena Nike temple.
2. Compare the two figures' original architectural context within their relevant buildings on the Acropolis. What do we know of their histories? How do the two sculptures illuminate each other? By putting the two of these Acropolis figures together in an imagined gallery (or an essay), side-by-side, do we suddenly notice something new or interesting about Greek sculptures?
