A. Above what height in the atmosphere do the percentage ratios of major gases start to change? Why does this happen when you get that high up there?
B. If a closed box of air is warmed up, what do you expect to happen to the air pressure inside? Why is that the case?
C. If the outside air (not a closed box) warms up, and the pressure remains the same, what do you expect to happen to the density of that air, and why? Explain using either the ideal gas law or a physical description of what's happening with the molecules?
D. What do we call the top of the lowest layer of the atmosphere? About how high do we tend to find that boundary in these latitudes?
