Through socialization we learn the norms and values of our society. Post an image of a book or film that you loved as a child. What did this book or film teach you about the norms and values of your culture (think about what it tells you about norms around gender roles and family and other relationships; social expectations and what is acceptable or not; what does it tell you about success or failure?). Do you still agree with/follow those norms and values today? Why or why not?
