Assignment task: Composing a paper by choosing any philosopher in the "PHILOSOPHERS" listed below, writing a research paper. In the paper, identifying the philosopher's epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics.
The questions needing to be asking as part of research:
Q1. What did the philosopher think about the possibility of knowledge, and how to achieve it? (epistemology)
Examples: Were they an empiricist? Were they a rationalist? Were they a skeptic?
Q2. What did the philosopher think about reality? (metaphysics)
Examples: Do they believe that matter is real? Is the soul real? Is God real? Is reincarnation real?
Q3. What did the philosopher think about morality and value? (ethics)
Examples: How should people live? What is the highest value? Should we seek pleasure? Should we follow our desires, or deny our desires? Is there a moral absolute, or is the good life different for everybody?
