Case-Protests,The Sweet Smell of Success?!?
"Sweeeeeet! We've finally awarded the major contract! The troops really need those discombobulator guns!" you think to yourself. "I can't wait to attend the celebration party!" You leave the office for a long deserved two week vacation.
Upon return, there is a letter from the Martian-Grumman Corporation waiting for you. The MGC has protested to you that the award is invalid. They claim that they are the universe's leading manufacturer of dicombobulator equipment and that the requirements of your solicitation failed to recognize many new safety features that should be a part of any good discombobulator weapon. Accordingly, they request injunctive relief and immediate award of the contract to MGC. "What do I do now?" you think to yourself.
