Is there a need to replace an existing health information system (HIS) application? Or, perhaps there is an opportunity to install a net new system in your organization? For this assignment you will begin an HIS vendor selection process for a solution of your choosing. Build and complete evaluation templates for three potential vendor solutions. In a three to five-page write up, summarize your findings and rank the vendors, ultimately justifying your first choice. Per our text, be sure to include requirements, how prescreening was completed, how evaluation criteria was identified, and what details you would suggest for inclusion in an RFP.
The response must include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, double-space, Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
