Discussion Post: Conducting Business Research
The discussion provides a forum for discussing relevant topics for this week based on the course competencies covered.
For this discussion, choose one of the following questions.
Start reviewing and responding to the postings of your classmates as early in the week as possible. Respond to at least two of your classmates. It is important to conduct business research in order to objectively make decisions. Assume you are a supervisor for a manufacturing company, which is experiencing lower sales this year compared to the same period last year.
1) What research would you conduct to determine why sales are lower?
2) What data would you collect and analyze?
3) Which employees would you contact?
4) Which outside consultants, if any, would you contact?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
