What could have been done to avoid the misunderstanding

Problem

Based on your own experience or your own research, describe and explain the types of communication that may be based on a cultural misunderstanding, with respect to the following:

A. What barriers were in place? (verbal language, body language, the use of slang or idioms, aesthetics-colors, art, music, etc.)

B. What could have been done to avoid the misunderstanding? Make sure to cite the course learning materials that apply as well as your individual research.

C. How would you interpret this interaction using the model of national culture?

a. NOTE: National culture and global culture differs. National culture is culture within a nation. For example, you may find commonalities within people from the United States, but there are also differences between the cultures of the Western, Northern, Southern, and Eastern United States. Language, pace, dress, and more differences may be noticed even within the same country. Global culture is examining our culture against those of another country. Consider that someone from North Africa will have a different set of cultural values from those in East Africa, West Africa, or even South Africa.

D. What advice, if any, would you give to the parties in the conversation to have a smoother and more ideal flow of communication in the future?
