Current Events of an Unethical Type
Find two articles (include the links in your assignment) that show the actions of unethical managers/leaders. In evaluating the ethics of the situation, answer these questions for both articles.
What was the underlying cause of the unethical behavior? Don’t repeat what happened. Determine what likely broke down in making the moral agent’s immoral choice.
What could the moral agent have done to prevent such unethical behavior in the first place? Explain the options the moral agent could have chosen and the likely result of those options – refer to the “Building and Ethical Organization” strategies (pg. 166).
What could a manager do to prevent this behavior from happening again? Be specific and apply concepts related to cultural leadership.
