In your own words, specify what constitutes a decent standard of living to you and what constitutes sustainability. Do you think the two ideas are compatible? Why or why not? Do you think that the Earth could support 8 to 10 billion people using their definitions of a decent standard of living and sustainability? Suggest at least one way that sustainability could be achieved using their descriptions. Also describe at least one factor that is necessary for sustainable development.
