Problem
The parents of a four year old boy who has recently been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder comes to you for help. He does not like eating animal proteins and will only eat soft or pureed foods. His diet has primarily consisted of soft breads, peanut butter, and occasionally processed baby food pouches. So far, his parents report that he refuses to eat anything hard or crunchy. They live in a rural area surrounded by farms, the family's water source is a well, and the mother has received antibiotics many times in her life.
