TITLE
Before you start working on your essay, you should give your paper o working title which wit help you focus on the topic ofyour paper. You can change ir as you write it ro adopt kw your writing. Give your paper a final title when you edit itfor the lost time.
Chart Structure
INTRODUCTION
1. Provide some background info about the film director and the film or the author and the book.
2. Summarize the film orthe book in a few lines.
3. State your writing project in focusing on the themes that you are going to discuss in the body part
4. Announce elegantlywhat you will be discussing in the body of yourtext.
BODY
Paragraph #1: Write about the correlation between form and content
This paragraph is required: write a short paragraph about the relation between the format/form of the movie/book and its content or main ideas?
1. How is the story told throughout the film/book?
2. Who is telling the story? Whose voice is in the story?
3. Does the structure of the film/book fit its topics/themes?
Paragraph #2: Write about a character
This paragraph is required. Write about this character:
1 Discuss about the personality of the character
2. Its relation with other characters
3. And its connection with the main themes of the film/book
Paragraph #3: Write about major issues
This paragraph is required: Choose at least 2 major issues or themes raised by the movie/book and discussthe following aspects:
1. How did the director introducethe issue?
2. What characters carry the issues?
3. How did the direction develop the issue from the beginning to the end of the movie?
4. How did the director resolve the issue?
Paragraph #4: Write about the life/world vision
This paragraph is required. Find a vision that will enlighten the movie/book, the director's movie or the book's author or a general idea, concept, etc.
CONCLUSION
1. Summarize the main ideaswhich you expressed in the body of your essay.
2. Do you like thisfilm/book& why? Doesthis book/film relate to your experiences, ideas, feelings or emotions?
3. Enlarge/connect your issues with other possible issues to situate this topic in a larger context.
