After viewing the TED TALK by Sheryl Sandberg, provide your reflection essay addressing the following questions.
Do you agree with her viewpoints on there being too few women in leadership roles? Why or why not?
Do you think that her being a woman has made it easier or more difficult to be a leader in the business world? Why? Think about the field - technology - Sheryl was the first woman CEO at Yahoo and now she is a Vice President at Facebook- and the lack of women representation in those fields...
Do you feel Gender Roles (cultural expectations of what men should do and what women should do) have held her back in the United States? Why or why not? If so, how?
What challenges would she face as a woman leader in the field of technology in Japan? China? Saudi Arabia? Why? Would they be the same as those she faces in the United States? Would she have a harder time being successful or easier? Explain why or why not?
