Discussion Post: STARTING OR IMPROVING A BUSINESS PROCESS
a) What do we mean by lead information and lag information? Give an example of each, and describe the role that information could play in starting or improving a business process.
b) Describe an example of how a business might improve the performance of one of its existing business processes. This could be a hypothetical example, or one you've experienced as an employee or a customer. What challenges were encountered in improving the process? How were lead and lag information used in initiating and assessing the improvements?
