Brenda is now sixteen year old. Her parent divorced when she was 10 and her father left the home. Until the age of ten, Brenda was a survivor of terrible child abuse. Her father had an alcohol problem and he was abusive during and immediately after drinking binges. What made life so difficult was that Brenda's father was actually quite nice and charming when he wasn't drinking. Thus, this behavior was unpredictable and Brenda was never quite sure if the "nice" father or "mena" father world comes home at night. What can we expect might be some the consequences for Brenda in her teenage and adults years due to the physical and emotional abuse she suffered earlier in life?
