Discussion Post: State Fragility
Read the articles by Ferreira (2017) and Manchanda (2017) which are required reading. Respond to the following:
a) Before studying this material, how knowledgeable were you about the concept of failed/fragile states?
b) Provide an example of a failed/fragile state and explain why it is identified as such.
c) What impact does this country's failed/fragile status have on its neighbors?
d) What can, or should, the international community do to address the problems in the country that you chose?
