Problem
What can Germany do to reduce the suffering of its population, and/or support local German manufacturing (you can choose one or the other, or both issues here).
You are an "external consultant" to the German head of state, Chancellor Olaf Scholz. You've been tasked with helping his administration begin to tackle this economic crisis. Your job is to point him and his administration in the right direction. As such, you don't necessarily have to provide a "comprehensive solution." What you do have to do is suggest either how Germany should get started in addressing its energy issues, or what it should continue doing regarding its energy issues.
I need to know what YOU think Germany should do next. You are the expert here now. Keep it simple. But be sure to support all of your "evidence" with properly cited sources.
