Assignment Task: Describe in detail what the average physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development from ages six to twelve year old girl looks like. For each of the developmental categories, support your development with theory or concepts from the text, which explain or might have impact this development. Some observations to consider (but not limited to):
- Physical: Growth, motor skill development, athletics, health and illness, nutrition
- Cognitive: Cognitive stages, memory, language development, learning, intelligence
- Psychosocial: Identity development, the impact of family/peer/sibling relationships
