Project Assignment
Neurological disorders are highly studied in the field of neuropsychology. We will study some of these disorders throughout the term. Select disorder and discuss the following in a well-organized PowerPoint presentation:
a. Identify your disorder.
b. What are the primary symptoms of this disorder?
c. What areas of the brain are impacted/damaged by this disorder? Include relevant/current brain scans you might find on the internet of your selected disorder.
d. What treatments exists for this disorder?
e. What role (if any) does neurogenesis/neuroplasticity play in a person recovering (or not) from this disorder?
f. Create an 8 to 12 slides presentation to explain your responses and illustrate your findings.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
