One of the reasons an industry can have a shortage of talent is if the workforce does not see the job as a long term career destination. If I consider a certain job to be launching off point to a more lucrative position I would not stick around very long. Needing to find and hire workers frequently because the talent is opting for better paying jobs can be very taxing on a business. This was the case with the article that talked about accounting firms not being able to hire enough qualified talent. What are your thoughts? Can anyone think of possible solutions to this problem?
