For this discussion post, think about your own attributions for academic successes and failures when you were in elementary school.
a) Would you say that you had mastery-oriented attributions or learned-helplessness as a child?
b) What are those attributions like now as a college student?
c) What messages from others may have contributed to your attributions during middle childhood and now?
