What are the synthetic auxins and what are their uses?

The Synthetic auxins like naphthalenic acid (NAA) and indolebutyric acid (IBA) are substances similar to IAA (a natural auxin) but artificially made. A number of are used to accelerate methods of asexual reproduction (like budding or grafting) and others are even used as herbicides since they selectively kill some plants (mainly dicots).
