My topic is Poverty: Structures and Institutions
What are the structural factors or problems with "the system" for your topic (Poverty)? Institutions you could analyze: Government, economic systems/corporations, education systems, social media and mass media, law enforcement and the legal system, family structures and socialization, religions or traditions that are embedded in attitudes and customs. Do these broken systems create the ideologies around the problem, or do the ideologies create the broken systems?
