Analyze a Film Assignment
This assignment is to be in proper APA format (see "APA Writing and Style Guidelines" and "UoP APA Paper Template" under Recommended Learning Activities in Week 1 for reference). Do not use this sheet to answer your questions.
Film titles must be properly formatted and cited in the body of the paper, as well as properly referenced on the References page, (see "Film Title and Citation Format" under Recommended Learning Activities in Week 1 for reference).
Attend a film of your choice at a theater, or use a film you have seen at a theater recently enough to be able to address the following: [525 words minimum]
• What are the sounds and smells of the theater, and how do they make you feel?
• How does a viewing in a large audience affect your experience?
• How is the theater experience different from home viewing?
• Do you prefer the theater experience or home experience? Why or why not?
• What genre of film did you attend? Does the theater experience add or distract from this type of genre?
• Explain the narrative of the film.
• Be thorough, and summarize the entire experience overall.
