Criteria: four pages double spaced, plus reference page
Paper should answer the following questions:
What are the shifts in Mathematics and English Language Arts?
What is the function and purpose of CCSS?
Flow do these standards compare with New York State Standards? What are the implications for teaching and learning?
How do the standards apply to diverse and special needs students? Answers to any other questions you may have.
Lesson Plan: one page
Plan for a second grade class in a content area with respect to the CCSS.
