The module Delegation, Automation and Participation, we read the short story "The Machine Stops" by E. M. Foster, in which society is unhealthily dependent on a machine to fulfill their every need. In modern life, what is one example of a machine or a delegated process on which people are unhealthily dependent, and what are the potential consequences of a sudden failure of the system?
