The future of our cities and communities requires some smart planning and a lot of compromise. Think about renting, driving, transit, activity, public interaction, etc. These have become increasingly more difficult or scarce as global investors and developers have free reign over building our cities. But what if I had a voice in what our cities and communities looked like.
All would be designing what my city would look like, as if i were in a Sims game. But instead, let me just discuss it.
If I were a city planner, what are the key things I would include in my city? Think of all the issues in this nation and other nations, as I create your city.
Which do you think is better for society and the environment: high density housing (having more people live in a smaller place to reduce urban sprawl) or continue to expand development in areas that are underdeveloped, like deserts or rural areas, even into the Midwestern regions of this country?
Considering the cost of living in the Greater Los Angeles region, would I consider relocating to either Wyoming or Vermont if you were given $10,000?
