A. Describe in your own words what the research article is about. (50 words)
B. What are the key audit areas discussed in the article and which audit standards are affected? (150 words)
C. Based on the audit issues addressed by the authors, reflect on the article's findings and provide your critical opinion on these. (150 words)
D. Based on your understanding of the article, do you think there are any implications for the auditing profession or audit regulators (such as the AUASB, ASIC), and do you have any suggestions for other stakeholders (such as users of the audited financial statements)? (150 words)
Instructions:
1) Your submission should be your (original) work and succinct. Any plagiarism or direct copy/paste from the articles will be severely penalised. Moodle (Turn-it-in) will not only compare your submission to those of your peers but also to the articles the assignment is directly based on.
2) The assignment has two elements: your reflection and understanding of the audit issues discussed in the article. Thus, there is no need to provide any references or to refer to any other sources.
3) The PDF submission must be in Times New Roman, 12 font size, 1.5 spacing and 1-inch page margins. No cover or feedback sheet is required. Student name and ID should be indicated on the page.
