Activity Problem: Elements of an Effective Strategic Plan
Overview
What makes a good strategic plan? For this activity, you will explore this question and try to identify the elements needed to develop an effective strategic plan. You will be able to use your research to help you complete next week's Strategic Plan assignment.
Before you begin, make sure you have read Chapter 8 of the text from this week's reading, "Strategy Formulation and Execution."
Task
Complete 1 to 2 pages paper in which you:
1) Use Basic Search: Strayer University Online Library and the Internet for ideas on what makes an effective strategic plan.
2) Answer the following questions:
a) Who should be involved in strategic planning?
b) What are the elements of an effective strategic plan?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
