What are the chief characteristics of ferro-electric materials
Ferroelectric materials have following characteristics:
a) They have a huge dielectric constant which is non-linear i.e. it occurs to a considerable extent on the intensity of the electrical field.
b) They exhibit hysteresis loops; i.e. the polarization is not linear function of the applied field.
