In our modern world, we are regularly reminded of the rise of China and the resurgence of Russia and of the dangers posed to the West by a new Cold War. What were the challenges and the dangers of the "old" Cold War in the twentieth century, and how did we handle them? What are the challenges we face today, and how are we handling them? Ultimately, do you believe that we are on the cusp of a new Cold War? Why or why not?
