What are the causes of endodontic pain?
Lesions in retreatment cases called post endodontic diseases.
Reasons of Endo retreatment; = reasons of failure:
- Signs or symptoms of failure of previous endodontic treatment
- Persisting intraradicular infection
- Persisting extraradicular infection
- Inadequate root canal obturation
- Evidence of missed canal, ledge or fracture instrument
- Coronal leakage; in case of broken amalgam and there is leakage more than 15 days, it need retreatment.
