Homework: Conduct a Needs Assessment for Selected Business/Organization
The Critical Thinking homework in this course build upon each other to help you complete the final Portfolio Project, an instructional design blueprint for a business or organization. In this step, you will complete a needs assessment for the business or organization you have selected and profiled.
Your needs assessment must include data collection measures and outcomes for the following four stages:
1) Stage 1: What are the business/organization needs?
a) Measure: (What measure is used?)
b) Outcome: (What is the forecasted ROI?)
2) Stage 2: What are the performance needs?
a) Measure: (What measure is used?)
b) Outcome: (What are the knowledge and skills needed for success in the business/organization? To what degree are they currently being met?)
3) Stage 3: What are the learning needs?
a) Measure: (What measure is used?)
b) Outcome: (What knowledge and skills need to be improved through instruction?)
4) Stage 4: What are the learner needs?
a) Measure: (What measure is used?)
b) Outcome: (For example: Who are the learners? How many are there? Is the group multi-generational? What is the cultural make-up? Are they traditional or nontraditional learners?)
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
