3. What are the boundaries of the perineum? What are the two regions that form the perineum?
4. Which muscles form the pelvic floor, and which of these are included in the levator ani group? For each muscles, provide the following information.
o Position relative to the skeleton.
o Position along the pelvic floor.
5. Which perinea] muscles differ due to sex? For each muscle, describe how it differs in location and function depending on sex.
6. How are the muscles of the abdomen and pelvic floor related? Hint: think about their general functions.
