International teams come with various advantages to the organization. First, these teams comprise of people from different cultural backgrounds (Mitchell, 2008). As a result, the group is more diverse in thinking and handling of projects. The team members come with different ideas, which can be blended to form one superior idea. Second, the formation of international teams can be used as an advertising strategy. It shows the world that the company considers everyone. It might help in gaining additional market share in foreign markets.
For example, Detection International has registered success with international teams. It is a consulting firm that uses the services of people from different parts of the world. International teams have helped the company to gain leadership in the global market.
