2. Describe specific conflict situations in your work or that you might anticipate when you become a manager, and discuss how you might intervene to help the parties resolve their issues. In small groups, address the specific challenges you may face in attempting third-party intervention and help one another identify strategies for overcoming them.
3. How would your ability to successfully engage in mediation with employees be affected by concerns either party has in trusting you? Is it possible to reestablish this trust so that you can intervene? How would you go about doing this?
