Conflicts at work do not have to be deal-breakers. In fact, well-managed conflicts can lead the parties in conflict towards greater collaboration and understanding.
In a 3- to 4-page paper (not counting title and reference pages, which you must include), address the following:
1. Compare and contrast types of conflict (these are outlined in Chapter 12 of your course textbook).
2. What are the benefits and challenges of each type?
3. What is your own experience with each of these types of conflict?
4. In addition to materials covered in the class readings and lecture pages, your paper must incorporate at least three peer-reviewed scholarly articles that are not assigned as readings in this course. The CSU-Global Library is a great place to find your resources. Be sure to cite and reference your sources.
